Massage Therapy with Jude

 I Practice Swedish and Advanced/Deep Tissue Massage with additional techniques borrowed from Acupressure, Shiatsu &  Ayurveda.  

Massage can be  a relaxing or  stimulating treatment ( or both!) depending on what you want out of the treatment. With the use of oil (or other massage medium such as lotion)  I manipulate the soft body tissue, helping to improve skin and muscle tone, ease aches and pains, rid the body of toxins  and improve circulation. Swedish Massage , like many other holistic treatments is particularly effective at tackling stress. Deep Tissue Massage is very popular with athletes, sports people , dancers ( and yogis!) to help recover from and prevent soft tissue injuries or to work deeply into sore muscles. We can do a complete full body massage or can focus on a particular area such as back, neck and shoulders or feet and legs. It’s your massage – you choose what you would like. If you have a medical condition you may require your doctor’s approval to have massage, so it’s worth seeking this in advance otherwise we may not be able to do the treatment. Any long term or serious health condition applies. Deep Tissue Massage is very deep so it may not suit you if you have  an area of inflammation or skin that bruises easily.

 

Your first appointment which includes a health questionnaire and consultation will take about an hour and 15 mins.

NOTE: appointments in Glasgow will be for 1 hour minimum

Regular attendees at our yoga classes or workshops can have appointment in Glasgow at the rate of £35 per hour on an ongoing basis

If you refer a friend or family member, they will have their first appointment for only £35

1 hour & 15 mins – GLASGOW £45 – (full body massage with additional consultation) COWAL – £35

1 hour – GLASGOW – £40   - COWAL – £30

30 mins – £20 – time for back, neck and shoulders OR feet/legs

I am also a qualified Usui Reiki practitioner and Celtic Reiki Master. These treatments can be offered alone or in addition to massage therapy.

I can provide massage for you at your home or holiday accommodation in Cowal or at our home in Sandbank. In Glasgow, I work from The Practice in Lynedoch Place Charing Cross. Please contact me  for an appointment.

I am a skilled and experienced masseur who has been working as a therapist since 2002. I have an in-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology, strengthened by my work as a yoga teacher and practitioner. I am a member of the Scottish Massage Therapists Organisation , bound by their code of ethics and required to show evidence of continuing professional development. I continue to develop my practice with workshops and further therapy training.
